Barefoot Trace 414

Have stayed twice in last 6 months. Each time, condos were excellent, but elevator was out of order.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Trace! The condo was more than comfortable during our week stay. The only feedback I can provide is very subjective, as I would have liked a dumbbell set in the fitness room for a workout. We will be back and are even considering a family reunion here in 2026!

The condo is absolutely amazing and we had the best time...even with Hurricane Idalia!! We had everything we needed and Cassie was so kind and informative. We have been to Barefoot Trace many times and it NEVER disappoints. We will be back next year.

We always plan a beach week a couple of times a year and Barefoot Trace at Cresent Beach just south of St. Augustine is our favorite destination. The fourth-floor balcony overlooking the beach offers wonderful panoramic views of the Atlantic and the un-crowded wide white sand beach stretches out for miles in both directions, providing a perfect venue for long morning runs or walks. An elevator and complimentary shopping carts make the transport of luggage and groceries a breeze. The nearby old city of St. Augustine provides a variety of excellent restaurants, and there is a Publix nearby for stocking the kitchen. We will always return to Barefoot Trace!

This is the third stay at Barefoot Trace. Each time, in a different unit. This unit was the most tastefully decorated of all 3 units. The dryer wasn't working properly but was repaired in a timely manner. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen, spacious and well-equipped. The lock was a bit tricky to operate and it might be helpful to others to include some instruction. The ONLY disappointment was the lack of beach chairs. Deborah was able to furnish chairs but they might have been for kids, very narrow and uncomfortable. Otherwise, a fantastic unit and a great time for our family during these very trying times. See you next year!

I did not know how to work the lockbox to lock the unit when going out. I called Coastal and she tried to help me, but to no avail. She arranged for the maintenance person to come and he was VERY helpful and showed me how. I hated that he had to make a trip just to show me.

Everything looked new and modern. The kitchen was more than fully stocked, the king bed extremely comfortable and we loved the ocean view from the balcony. We want the balcony chairs to be tall enough to see over the rails and these did not disappoint! I watched the sun rise every morning in my great high chair and coffee. What I truly love about Barefoot Trace is that I have NO stairs or steps to climb from my car to the condo to the beach! I have horrible knees and stairs are difficult for me! Even the boardwalk to the beach ends in a ramp instead of steps. We've never had an issue with check in or out and check out instructions are simple and easily doable. I only had 1 issue with our Keurig and it was taken care of PROMPTLY and cheerfully. I just can't rave enough about our fun, relaxing week. Thank you BFT for another perfect , very needed vacation.
