How do I book a vacation rental at Barefoot Trace? 

We offer dozens of vacation rentals at Barefoot Trace. Search all condos online, then book instantly through our secure website. You’ll always get the best rate on your reservation when you book directly through us.  You can also call your reservation in to the on-site office at 904-471-3881.


Where is Barefoot Trace located? 

Barefoot Trace Condos are located between Butler Beach and Crescent Beach, just south of St. Augustine, Florida. You’ll get to your beachfront rental via the famous A1A Highway. Enjoy proximity to the area’s restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing — and the privacy and tranquility of the property.  Our physical address is 6240 A1A South, St. Augustine, FL 32080.


What amenities can I enjoy while staying at Barefoot Trace?

Renters staying at Barefoot Trace have access to the great amenities. Enjoy private walkways to the beach, heated oceanfront pool, tennis court, game room, fitness facility, covered parking, and more.


Why should I book with the on-site rental company, Coastal Realty?

There are many advantages to booking your vacation rental through us, the on-site rental company:

  • Coastal’s office staff at Barefoot Trace welcomes you to stop in or call Mon-Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm year around with any questions, comments, or concerns. Evenings and weekend help is available through our main office line @ 800-587-2287, and we have 24-hour emergency assistance on call.
  • Coastal offers on-site maintenance and housekeeping staff that are dedicated to making your stay comfortable and are available to address any issues that may arise.


What is the amount required to confirm a reservation and when is the balance due?

A 20% down payment is required at the time of booking for your reservation to be confirmed. The remaining balance is due 30 days (1 month) from your check-in date. You will receive a reminder e-mail about the balance 30 days from your check-in date.


What other charges are associated with a vacation rental?

Local taxes, check-out cleaning, the reservation fee, and a non-refundable Damage Waiver.


Is the Damage Insurance optional?

You have two options for damage insurance when booking your reservation. You can opt for a non-refundable $55 damage insurance which covers up to $3000 in accidental damages OR place a refundable $2000 deposit (this is due 30 days before your arrival with the balance) that will be refunded back onto your credit card after the unit is inspected upon check out.


What time is check-in/check-out and what will I need to do?

Check-In: 4 pm

You will receive an email 14 days prior to your check in with all of your access information and codes.  We do not guarantee a check in time before 4pm.  If you arrive after regular office hours, please come to the office the following business day to check in and return signed confirmations and receipts. Take a moment to review the association rules and regulations and garbage pickup instructions. Place parking passes visibly in your vehicle any time you are parked within the complex.

Check-Out: 10 am

All trash should be bagged and taken to the dumpster chute. Place all dirty dishes in dishwasher. Do not leave excessive dirty laundry – the average is two loads for a 2 bedroom. Strip beds and put all dirty linens in washer/dryer area. Upon departure please leave both keys in the drop box at the Barefoot Tace on site office.

What is included in my rental?

All bath and bed linens are included. Each unit at Barefoot Trace has wireless internet and a full size washer dryer in every unit. Beach towels and chairs are not required to be in the units. You can view a list of inventory that should be included in your unit here.


Is there grocery/shopping nearby?

There are several grocery stores nearby Barefoot Trace. These include a Publix (3.6 miles away), Winn-Dixie (3.4 miles), Walgreens (3.3 miles), Target (9.2 miles), and Wal-Mart (9.3 miles).


Who do we contact with any questions or issues that may arise?

A big advantage of renting Barefoot Trace condos through Coastal Realty is our on-site office. Please call or stop in the office if there is ever anything that we can help you with.
